This Thanksgiving has been really special - Grandpa George
flew all the way from Utah to be with us this year:

Dad recently took me to a local piece of Civil War history:  the burial site for all the Union soldiers who perished in the battle of Fort Stevens.  Battleground National Cemetary, by the way, happens to be one of the smallest National Cemetaries:

Thank goodness for the sun to warm things up on a crisp, wintry day:

At the end of the month I got to fly in an airplane for the first time ever -
to Minnesota, of all places.  Here I am preparing for takeoff with my Mom:
