When people ask if I wear highlights in my hair, I always tell them, "Don't be silly":

We decided to honor autumn by visiting Dinosaur Land
for the first time ever with a group of friends:

Speaking of Halloween, we held our annual pumpkin
carving competition over at Simon & Otto's house:
I think Dad paid off the judges, since somehow there was an "architecture" category:


For some unfathomable reason, I was taken to a jail-turned-miniature-golf-course:
I did my best to survive during my return visit to the hoosegow.
Every day, for example, I gathered my own water from a stream:
For fun, I would single-handedly halt the windmill:
Fortunately, I was able to escape by train:
Dad then caught me with my hand up the soda machine:
But then my grandmother, Maya, came to stay at our house,
so luckily I didn't have the time to get into any more mischief:
Colder weather has finally come to our area, thus the need to cover one's head:
Selecting a book for story time can be one of the hardest decisions:
On the actual day of Halloween we drove up the pike to the nearby countryside,
where we were able to pick out some pumpkins ...
